Weight-inclusive Nutrition Counseling in Pittsburgh, PA

Food shouldn’t feel this hard

Whether you are struggling with an eating disorder or just want to work on your relationship with food, I am here to help you make peace with food and reconnect with your body in a way that feels supportive

Food is a constant tug of war

You diet. Try to eat “perfectly.” It fails.

You may try to ditch dieting. Eat intuitively like everyone says online. Eat donuts until you feel satisfied, but never truly get there. Instead of peace, food still feels like chaos.

Either way, food controls your life

Food freedom is more than See the donut. Eat the donut

It’s about reconnecting with your body and what it truly needs. There are new skills to be learned. Limiting beliefs to be unlearned.

Diving straight from dieting into food freedom is like starting a new job without any training

You need the right structure, support, and tools to get you there

What It’s Like Working with a Weight-Inclusive Dietitian

We ditch the temporary solutions and replace them with tools backed by psychology and nutrition science so you can make peace with food for good.

Supportive Structure

Rules keep you stuck. Structure helps your body feel safe. Nourishing your body and getting a consistent eating schedule is key to healing.

Thought Rewiring

Old beliefs shape your choices. We’ll uncover the stories that keep you stuck and replace them with supportive tools that move you forward.

Rebuilding Trust

It’s time to feel at home in your body. We’ll support your nervous system and build trust with your body so food can feel safe again.

Frequently Asked Questions

At this time, I’m an out-of-network provider. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit for possible reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so reimbursement is not guaranteed.

Nutrition counseling services are provided virtually. Due to licensure laws, I’m currently able to work with clients located in Pennsylvania, Florida, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Delaware, California, Colorado, Arizona, and Virginia.

I work with individuals navigating anorexia nervosa, binge eating, bulimia nervosa, OSFED, ARFID, emotional eating, and disordered eating. I also support anyone who wants to improve their health or relationship with food through a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach!

I offer a limited number of sliding scale and reduced rate sessions, please email me to learn more! And if I’m not the right financial fit, I’m happy to help you find a provider who accepts your insurance.

As a weight-inclusive provider, I focus on behaviors that support your health and well-being rather than the number on the scale. While I don’t provide weight-loss counseling, nothing is off limits in our conversations. Your feelings, fears, and goals are always welcome here.

I see ages 12 and up!

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN or RD). Dietitians need to go through 5+ years of school, including a 1200 hour internship and a national exam. On the other hand, anyone can call themselves a nutritionist, it is not a regulated title. If you want nutrition advice, seek out a Dietitian!

You deserve a life that isn’t ruled by food

No more googling “nutritionists near me” just to be flooded with more weight-loss programs… it’s time to work with a Weight-Inclusive Registered Dietitian who truly understands how to heal from eating disorders & disordered eating.
